Tirumala: No Recommendation Letters Allowed For Darshan During Model Code
With the Model Code of Conduct coming into effect ahead of the upcoming local body elections in AP, TTD board has stated that no recommendation letters will be accepted for Srivari darshan.

Tirupati: With the Model Code of Conduct coming into effect ahead of the upcoming local body elections in Andhra Pradesh, the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) board has stated that no recommendation letters will be accepted for Srivari darshan or accommodation in Tirumala hill
However, darshan and accommodation facilities will be provided only to protocol dignitaries visiting in person. This arrangement will remain in force as long as the Model Code of Conduct is in effect.
Elections to the local body will be conducted in three phases, with polling scheduled for November 26, November 29 and December 2 being the last date for counting. Devotees are requested to take note of this and cooperate with TTD, the board said in a statement.
The TTD will release the f Darshan and accommodation quotas online for January 2027 starting from October 21- 23 for the Srivari Arjitha Seva (Suprabhatham, Thomala, Archana, Ashtadala Pada Padmaradhana), and other Special Entry Darshan and Sri Vani tickets and other sevas.
