Nimmala Cycles for 10 Km to Reach CM’s Camp Office

Vijayawada:In keeping with a call given by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu to observe No Vehicle Day, Water Resources minister Nimmala Ramanaidu pedalled to the CM’s Camp Office in Undavalli over a distance of 10 km for a meeting on Friday.
The meeting is over the distribution of ₹307 crore as compensation to people affected by the Polavaram irrigation project.
Instead of the usual convoy of vehicles, Ramanaidu chose to ride a cycle for the meeting in view of the call given by the PM and CM.
