Nellore: Nellore will host Andhra Pradesh's first multi-company innovation park with the launch of the Nexus Innovation Hub on July 3.

The 200-seat facility at Magunta layout has been established by Nellore-born entrepreneur Renil Komitla and aims to create 1,000 technology jobs over the next two years.

The innovation hub is anchored by global IT firm Terralogic Solutions, where around 120 technology professionals are working on AI-powered products for global markets. The facility brings together six technology companies engaged in enterprise software, cyber security, healthcare, education technology, product design and marketing.

The launch marks a milestone in Komitla's initiative to build an innovation ecosystem in his hometown.

After establishing Blazeup.ai in Nellore in November 2025 with a target of creating 100 technology jobs, the company has exceeded that goal, employing nearly 150 professionals across the hub.

"I have carried one quiet wish since 1992—that the children of Nellore would not have to leave their hometown to find opportunities," Komitla said.

"Today, our teams are building global technology products from Nellore. This is only the beginning. Our goal is to create 1,000 technology jobs here within two years."

Komitla founded Terralogic in San Jose in 2008 and expanded it into a multinational technology company with about 1,300 professionals across five countries. He returned to Nellore in 2022 with the aim of building an innovation-driven ecosystem.

The Nexus Innovation Hub will house Terralogic, Blazeup.ai, cybersecurity startup FlyView.ai, education technology company Smartail.ai, Vietnam-based healthcare AI startup DXP Technologies, UX firm Lollypop Design Studio and creative technology company Caramelo Studio.

The companies are developing AI-powered products for customers in the US, Europe, the UK, the Gulf region and Asia.

The hub will also support entrepreneurs through Komitla's mentorship platform, Mr CEO, and an investment partnership with PointOne Capital. The initiative aims to assist startups in manufacturing, AgriTech, EdTech, hospitality and supply chain management through mentorship, funding and collaborative support.

The facility is expected to attain its full capacity of 200 professionals within six months, creating employment opportunities for local engineering graduates and strengthening Nellore's position as an emerging technology hub.
