Nellore: Minister Nara Lokesh has congratulated MLA Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy for transforming his Nellore Rural constituency into a “grassroots’ development model.”

Taking to X, Lokesh appreciated Kotamreddy for completing 339 development works worth ₹41 crore within just 60 days—a feat the minister called “record achievement.” He commended the MLA’s leadership as a beacon of progress and his efforts as a model for development taken up by the coalition government.

Under the present administration, the Nellore Rural legislator has initiated infrastructure projects totalling ₹231 crore, delivering tangible benefits to residents. “His commitment to fast-tracking public welfare is exemplary,” Lokesh remarked.

Speaking to media persons here on Sunday on the occasion, Kotamreddy said the foundation for 105 works had been laid on a single day, with other works implemented within the same week involving the local participation.

“All these projects are to be completed five days ahead of the May 20 deadline, with the grand inauguration scheduled for May 15 at 9:00 a.m.,” the MLA announced.

Minister P. Narayana, MP Vemireddy Prabhakar Reddy and MLC Beeda Ravichandra will attend this main inauguration, whose venue will be the Kallurpalli Housing Board Colony Main Road.

Simultaneous inaugurations will occur across 26 divisions with party leaders and district officers participating.

Kotamreddy thanked Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan, and IT minister Nara Lokesh for their support, and the people of Nellore Rural for re-electing the MLA for a third term.

“A comprehensive booklet detailing the completed works will be released shortly” he added.
