Nara Lokesh Conducts His 80th Praja Darbar in Visakhapatnam

Visakhapatnam: Education and IT Minister Nara Lokesh held his 80th Praja Darbar at the Telugu Desam Party office in Visakhapatnam on Wednesday, receiving petitions from people and party workers from across the city and surrounding districts.

At the public outreach programme, Lokesh personally greeted attendees and listened to their concerns regarding various civic and administrative issues.

Residents of AMC Colony in the city's 83rd division sought government intervention to rebuild apartment complexes originally constructed two decades ago for 192 families. The structures have deteriorated. They are now posing safety concerns for residents.

Representatives of Visakha Karunya Swachhandhra Seva appealed for allocation of land for their land, so that they could establish a specialised care centre for children suffering from thalassemia in Visakhapatnam.

Villagers from Mushidipalli in Devarapalli mandal of Anakapalli district sought allocation of house sites and construction of a community hall for the Yadav community.

In a land-related grievance, Nagireddy Gongalaiah from K. Kotapadu mandal in Anakapalli district sought an inquiry into the rejection of his mutation application for inherited land. Gongalaiah charged that the village revenue officer did not follow the due process.

Minister Lokesh assured all petitioners that their concerns will be thoroughly examined and he would work towards resolving their problems.
