Vijayawada: Accelerating the push for an ultra-modern Andhra Pradesh capital, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, as part of several iconic projects, has cleared the construction of Twin Towers (T1 & T2) at the Amaravati Quantum Valley at the cost of a whopping ₹1208.41 crore.

Municipal Administration and Urban Development department has already issued orders in this regard, which is in line with the decision taken during the 60th meeting of the APCRDA Authority held on April 23.

The Chief Minister has compared Amaravati’s future role in quantum technology to Hyderabad’s rise as an IT and cloud-computing centre decades ago. He foresees quantum computing as a strategic sector that can drive investments, create high-skilled employment, strengthen research ecosystems, and attract global technology companies.

Naidu underlined that the Amaravati Quantum Valley is aligned with India’s National Quantum Mission. They valley will include facilities for quantum hardware manufacturing, quantum-safe cybersecurity systems, startup incubation, talent development, research partnerships with universities and industries, and AI and high-performance computing integration.

The CM asserted that Amaravati would become a futuristic net-zero, technology-driven capital with a major innovation ecosystem for India’s next-generation technologies.

The ambitious Twin Tower project is aimed at strengthening the administrative infrastructure at Quantum Valley. It will have world-class office spaces, along with other iconic facilities that will transform Amaravati into a modern global city.

According to the government orders, the project will be executed under the “Design Build Lump Sum Percentage Tender” model. This will enable the selected construction agency to efficiently handle planning, design, and execution of the Twin Towers in an integrated manner.

Andhra Pradesh government has directed the Amaravati Growth and Infrastructure Corporation Limited (AGICL) to immediately initiate the tendering process for the mega Twin Tower project. The AGICL managing director has been entrusted with the responsibility of monitoring and implementing the construction of the Twin Towers.

Officials believe the project will not only accelerate infrastructure creation but also attract fresh investments and businesses to Amaravati.

The latest Quantum Valley Twin Tower decision at a cost of more than ₹1,208 crore is expected to provide fresh momentum to infrastructure development across the Amaravati region, while boosting real estate growth.
