Naidu Orders Certain Changes In Reorganisation Of Districts Based On Feedback
Final notification reorganising the districts is scheduled on December 31

Vijayawada: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has directed officials to make certain changes in the reorganisation of districts before the final notification in this regard is issued on December 31.
The CM’s directive came while presiding over a review meeting on reorganisation of districts. The government received as many as 927 objections and suggestions over the proposed reorganisation. Those who participated in the meeting on Saturday included ministers Anagani Satyaprasad, P. Narayana and Vangalapudi Anita, apart from senior officials.
Following the review, Chandrababu Naidu has asked officials to make certain changes keeping in mind the interests of the stakeholders.
It is said the Chief Minister has asked officials to merge five mandals of Gudur assembly segment into Nellore district. as per the feedback received from the people.
The proposals for merger of Railwaykoduru with Tirupati district, Rayachoti into Madanapalle district and Rajampeta, Siddampeta and Vontimitta with Kadapa district have been discussed threadbare. However, a final decision on them is yet to be taken.
There is an understanding to divide Adoni mandal, spread over a large area, into two mandals. With regard to Anakapalli district, instead of Nakkapalli division, Addaroad division is to be set up. It has been decided to merge Munagapaka with Anakapalli division and Atchuthapuram with Addaroad Junction division.
No change has been proposed in the proposed formation of Polavaram district with Rampachodavaram as its headquarters.
The CM wants the remaining proposals in the primary notification to remain as they are. Accordingly, Nandigam division of Palash division is to be shifted to Tekkali division in Srikakulam district. Chidikada mandal of Narsipatnam division is to be moved to Anakapalli division in Anakapalli district. Samarlakota mandal in Kakinada division is to be shifted to Peddapuram division in Kakinada district. Addanki, Ballikurava, Santhamagulur, J. Panguluru and Korisapadu of Addanki revenue division are to be moved to Prakasam district. Marripudi and Ponnaluru mandals in Kanigiri revenue division are to be shifted to Kandukuru revenue division and merged into Prakasam district.

Bangarupalem mandal in Palamaneru division is to be moved to Kavali division. Choudepalli and Punganuru of Palamaneru revenue division in Chittoor district are to be shifted to Madanapalle revenue division. Sadhum and Somala of Palamaneru revenue division in Chittoor district are to be moved to Peeleru revenue division.
A new Madakasira revenue division will be formed in Sri Sathya Sai district. Amadaguru mandal of Kadiri revenue division is to be merged into Puttaparthi revenue division. Gorantla mandal in Puttaparthi revenue division is proposed to be merged into Penugonda revenue division.
