Hyderabad: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu reached the Secretariat and reviewed the situation in cyclone-affected districts through the Real Time Governance Society (RTGS), monitoring ground conditions through CCTV cameras.

The RTGS officials briefed the Chief Minister on the movement of Cyclone Arnab and the prevailing situation in affected areas. Naidu enquired whether the uprooting of trees in several locations had caused traffic disruptions and sought details of the measures being taken to address such problems.

He directed officials to immediately remove fallen trees from national highways and other roads to ensure the swift restoration of traffic and prevent disruptions to transportation. He stressed the need for prompt action wherever trees had fallen and obstructed the movement of vehicles.

IT secretary Katamneni Bhaskar informed the Chief Minister that the RTGS had been continuously monitoring the cyclone situation since the first warnings were issued. The monitoring mechanism was being used to track developments and coordinate responses to emerging problems in the affected districts.

Officials also explained how complaints received through the Mana Mitra app were being forwarded to the concerned departments for immediate action. They told Naidu that the complaints were being communicated to the respective officials and steps were being taken to resolve the reported problems without delay.

The review focused on monitoring the cyclone's impact, identifying disruptions to road traffic and ensuring the prompt resolution of public grievances as authorities continued to respond to the evolving situation.
