Naidu Calls Upon People To Be Partners In Nation-Building

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has asked officials to take up the ‘Partners in Nation-Building’ programme in AP in coordination with all the people.

Naidu held a review meeting with senior officials of various departments at RTGS in the Secretariat here on Tuesday. He said employees and the people should participate in the programme so that extending government services to the people would help in the nation-building process.

He called upon every employee and the officer to help realise the targets under Viksit Bharat and Swarna Andhra

The CM said, “Take up repair works for the roads having pot holes in the name of ‘road doctor’ with a mission to ensure zero pothole’.” This programme, he said, is being implemented successfully in some parts of the state and can be extended to the entire state.

Referring to the participation of a large number of people in the inauguration of the Alluri Sitarama Raju International Airport at Bhogapuram in Vizianagaram district recently, Naidu said that if the government was doing good works, the people would get involved in such works voluntarily. He asked the officials to explain the facts to the people on various issues.

Naidu quoted an instance where the teachers who were selected in the Mega DSC-2025 came out in support of the government by taking up a ‘self-respect rally’. They took out a march defending their merit-based selections and condemned the opposition YSRC’s allegations of irregularities in recruitment of teachers,” he said.

The CM cautioned that the influence of El Nino would be more in the days ahead and felt the need to be prepared with proper planning to face the adverse impact.
