KURNOOL: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Thursday called upon Telugu Desam Party cadre to remain united and work collectively to ensure victory in the forthcoming local body elections.

Addressing party workers at Madhavaram in Mantralayam constituency, he urged every activist to replicate the success achieved in the 2024 Assembly elections through coordinated efforts.

Naidu stressed that there should be no divisions within the constituency and said there were no separate groups aligned with P. Tikkareddy or N. Raghavendra Reddy. "Only united efforts will bring success," he told the cadre.

He urged party workers to extend full support to constituency in-charge N. Raghavendra Reddy and take the government's welfare schemes and fulfilled promises to the people to strengthen its image at the grassroots level.

Earlier in the day, the Chief Minister attended the inauguration of the newly installed crest gates at the Tungabhadra Dam in Karnataka before returning to Mantralayam to participate in the party meeting.

Several local leaders attended the programme. Naidu later left for Amaravati.
