Naidu Calls for Speed in Delivering Governance Across All Civic Services
He said that nearly 800 services by various government departments were being provided to the citizens.
Vijayawada:Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has called for implementation of ‘Speed of Delivering Governance’ in all civic services to provide better services to the people in the New Year.
The CM chaired a review meeting with the minister for information and public relations Kolusu Parthasarathi and senior officials at the RTGS Centre here Monday. Speaking on the occasion, he directed the ministers and the senior officials from various departments to conduct surprise inspections to find out how the civic services and schemes were being delivered to the citizens.
He said that nearly 800 services by various government departments were being provided to the citizens.
The Chief Minister has called for all the government departments to provide the best services to the people in the New Year and called for efforts in that direction.
Naidu noted that the number of cases of death by suicides involving farmers were reduced as the government was providing financial aid to them.
With regard to the Swachahandra-Swarnandhra programme, Naidu called for recycling of solid waste by 50 per cent in rural areas and called for pressing into service ‘Swachh Rathams’ in an expeditious manner and felt the need to take the support from the people on it. He asked for sending wet waste for making compost and dry waste to the power generation plants and underscored the need to finalise the transport plan.
On connectivity in rural areas, Naidu called for engaging the band width and also laid stress to adopt the best practices for implementation of government schemes and programmes. He called for taking public opinion at the ground level with the help of IVRS and QR code.
Later, the Chief Minister released Swarna Village-Swarna Ward department’s calendar for 2026 along with the minister for social welfare Dola Bala Veeranjaneya Swamy.
