NELLORE: A “One Family–One Entrepreneur – MSME Growth Workshop” will be held at Sri Kasturibai Kalakshetram in Nellore on Thursday to provide aspiring entrepreneurs, MSME representatives and self-help group members information on business opportunities, funding and government support.
District collector Himanshu Shukla said the workshop would be organised by the district industries department in association with the district industries centre, APIIC, DRDA, MEPMA, skill development corporation and APMIP.
The workshop will feature sessions on production methods, marketing opportunities, bank loans, government schemes and digital services to help first-time entrepreneurs develop their business ideas.
Special help desks and departmental stalls will also be set up to provide information and guidance on various schemes, financial assistance and procedures.
The collector urged aspiring entrepreneurs, existing MSMEs and SHG members to make use of the workshop and explore opportunities to establish or expand their enterprises.
The initiative is aimed at accelerating industrial development in the district and promoting the concept of encouraging at least one entrepreneur from every family.
