MP Mastan Rao Made Member Of 2 Parliamentary Panels

NELLORE: Rajya Sabha Member Beeda Mastan Rao Yadav has been appointed as a member of two important Parliamentary Standing Committees for the term 2025–26.
The Lok Sabha Secretariat officially announced his induction into the Standing Committee on rural development & panchayati raj and the Standing Committee on agriculture, animal husbandry & food processing.
Mastan Rao thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for providing him the opportunity to serve on such crucial panels that strengthen India’s democracy.
He also thanked LS Speaker, RS Deputy Chairman and the concerned Union ministers for their support and trust.
The MP said that it was due to the vision and encouragement of Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu that the state was moving forward in rural development, decentralised governance, farmer-centric policies, technology-driven agriculture, and value-added products.
He also expressed special thanks to Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan and minister Nara Lokesh for their support.
Mastan Rao assured that he would extend full cooperation to both committees and work towards poverty alleviation, rural employment, strengthening of Panchayati Raj institutions, enhancing farmers’ incomes, and the development of animal husbandry, fisheries, and food processing sectors.
The Standing Committee on rural development & panchayati raj is currently chaired by MP Saptagiri Shankar Ulaka, while the Standing Committee on agriculture & animal husbandry is headed by Charanjit Singh Channi.
