MLC Chandrasekhar Reddy Makes Shocking Allegations Against Minister Narayana

Nellore: MLC Parvathareddy Chandrasekhar Reddy made several sensational comments during a press meet, raising serious concerns over alleged irregularities at VR High School and targeting minister P. Narayana for misuse of power.

He alleged that in this year’s admission process at VR High School, wealthy families were given preference over underprivileged students. “Out of 1,063, a shocking 669 were granted total admissions to children from affluent families, sidelining the school’s original mission to serve the poor,” he claimed.

He further questioned the school’s association with Narayana Schools, asking, “Why is there publicity for Narayana Schools on the notebooks distributed to students? VR School’s history should be written and made known to all, instead of being diluted.”

Reddy accused Narayana of betraying the founding values of VR High School, stating, “The noble purpose of the school has been lost. The minister has misused his position and acted according to his personal interests.”

The MLC also revealed that he had written a letter to the commissioner regarding these issues. “How did that letter leak to the public? I will not let this issue go,” he asserted.

He criticised the alleged misuse of data from the local secretariats. “Admission data was sourced from the secretariats in the city and was used to favour only children from the TD circle,” he said.

Reddy also alleged that buses belonging to Narayana institutions were being paid high rental charges under the name of VR High School. “Even for snacks, a fund of `5 crore has reportedly been shown,” he added.

Addressing the media’s questions about his political future, the MLC said, “If necessary, I will step away from politics. But I will not resort to personal attacks, nor will I speak lies.”

These statements have stirred political tension in the district, especially as VR High School is a prestigious institution with historical significance in Nellore.
