MLC Chandrasekhar Reddy Condemns Arrest Of Sravan Kumar
YSRC MLC Chandrasekhar Reddy condemned the arrest of Fourth Estate Channel CEO G. Sravan Kumar, alleging he was booked in false cases.
YSRC Nellore City in-charge and MLC Parvatha Reddy Chandrasekhar Reddy on Friday condemned the arrest of Fourth Estate Channel CEO G. Sravan Kumar by Nellore police.
Chandrasekhar Reddy alleged that Sravan Kumar had been booked in “false cases” and arrested for questioning alleged corruption, irregularities and misdeeds of the ruling party.
In a statement, the MLC said suppressing voices questioning those in power and intimidating them with cases was not possible in a democracy. He said the YSRC would continue to stand by and fight for every voice raising issues on behalf of the people.
Chandrasekhar Reddy expressed confidence that Sravan Kumar would be found innocent in the cases and that justice would ultimately prevail. He also expressed support for Sravan Kumar’s family.
Former minister P. Anilkumar Yadav also criticised the ruling party for allegedly filing false cases against Sravan Kumar.
