Minister Narayana visits Prayagraj to study Kumbh arrangements

Vijayawada:Municipal administration minister P. Narayana led a group of officials to study the arrangements made for the conduct of Kumbh Mela at Prayagraj in Uttar Pradesh, so that the Godavari Pushkaralu in Andhra Pradesh could be organised successfully in 2027.

The minister, along with municipal administration director P. Sampath Kumar and Rajahmundry municipal commissioner Ketan Garg, visited the Kumbh Mela Authority office in Prayagraj. They took stock of the various processes involved in conduct of the mega event, management of crowds, regulation of vehicular traffic and the security network required.

Kumbh Mela officer Vijay Kiran Anand made a presentation to the team from AP.

Subsequently, the minister and officials visited the Kumbh Mela Authority Command Control Room as well as the bathing ghats and interacted with the officials involved in the arrangements.
