Midhun Reddy approaches SC in liquor scam case

Vijayawada:YSRC MP from Rajampet, P.V. Midhun Reddy, has approached the Supreme Court seeking protection from arrest in connection with the liquor scam case.

As AP CID officials reportedly reached Delhi to arrest the MP, he moved the apex court for relief.

Earlier, Midhun Reddy had filed a petition in the AP High Court seeking anticipatory bail in the same case. However, the court dismissed his plea after the CID informed that the MP had not been named as an accused in the case.
