Mahanandi Temple Hundi Collections Touch ₹52.84 Lakh

KURNOOL: The hundi collections of the Sri Mahanandiswara Swamy temple at Mahanandi in Nandyal district amounted to ₹52.84 lakh over 62 days, temple executive officer Nallakala Srinivasa Reddy said on Saturday.
The offerings were counted at the Abhisheka Mandapam on the temple premises. The hundis at the temple, annadanam centre and goshala yielded 12.750 grams of gold and 142 grams of silver, besides foreign currency notes from the US, Oman, Malaysia and the UAE, the EO said.
