Mahanadu Lauds CM Naidu For Changing Rayalaseema

Kadapa:AP Home minister V. Anitha on Thursday observed that Rayalaseema, once known for its faction feuds, has turned into a hub of industries and fruit bowel thanks to Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu taking up various initiatives.

Addressing the Mahanadu public meeting, she recalled that in the past, if TD cadres wore a yellow shirt, they got threatened with cases or even bet up severely.

“Today, the entire Kadapa district has turned yellow with Mahanadu. Many had been surprised over holding Mahanadu in Kadapa. “But Kadapa gadda has now turned into TD adda,” the minister remarked.

She applauded minister Nara Lokesh’s vision of six statutes, saying this will help in realising the vision of Chandrababu Naidu for Andhra Pradesh. She observed that the pleasant climate even in summer during midday on Thursday shows the blessing of nature for the Telugu Desam Party.

Anitha said the state had become backward by 20 years under Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy government's rule.

Speaking on the occasion, TD state unit president Palla Srinivasa Rao expressed gratitude towards the people and party cadres of Kadapa for support and cooperation. He sought to predict that Jagan Mohan Reddy will soon face conviction on lines similar to mining baron Gali Janardhan Reddy, who is in jail for illicitly mining iron ore.

Srinivasa Rao underlined that the government is firm on establishing a steel plant in Kadapa, even as Chandrababu Naidu’s efforts have saved the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant.
