Education Minister Nara Lokesh directed officials to complete ongoing reforms in the education sector by June, when schools reopen after the summer holidays. Presiding over a review meeting of the education department, he discussed the Mega DSC, SSC and Inter exam results, as well as the creation of a new dashboard.

Lokesh emphasized that after the reforms, the focus for the next four years should be on enhancing educational standards. He also instructed officials to ensure the smooth declaration of SSC and Inter exam results. He further asked that students be able to log into the LEAP app using their Aadhaar ID. Lokesh called for measures to prevent student dropouts from government schools. He approved the transfer of KGBV teachers during the current holidays and sought arrangements for constructing a central library, training academy, and archives museum in Amaravati.

The minister also recommended introducing advanced technology, such as clickers, to enhance students' intelligence, starting with 9th-grade students. Officials reported that 48% of the books have already been printed.

Attendees of the review meeting included education secretary Kona Sasidhar, School Education Director Vijayarama Raju, Intermediate Education Director Kritika Shukla, Collegiate Education Director Narayan Bharat Gupta, Sarva Shiksha State Project Director B Srinivas Rao, and APEDB MD Deven Reddy.
