Vijayawada: Education and IT minister Nara Lokesh has made it clear that the ‘Red Book’ would be applicable only to those who flout law.
Speaking to the media on Thursday, he alleged that some YSR Congress leaders were turning nervous when he mentioned about the Red Book. One leader suffered a heart attack while another suffered a broken hand after falling down in the bathroom.
“We are standing by the Constitution while the previous YSR Congress government followed Raja Reddy’s rule.” He rejected the criticism that Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy was not being provided adequate security. “Jagan Reddy is being given Z plus security, which is more than the security for Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan.”
Lokesh alleged that Jagan Reddy was unable to move among the people as he was guilty of doing wrong things. He claimed CM Chandrababu Naidu had a great vision to develop the undivided AP and that the CM was trying to do the same for AP after its bifurcation to ensure eradication of poverty through the P-4 model.
Recalling his poll promise during the Yuvagalam to control migration of 35,000 labourers to other states from Kanigiri assembly segment, the minister said, “We set up the first compressed biogas plant at Kanigiri.”
Local MLA Mukku Ugranarasimha Reddy said the farmers were ready to give away 50,000 acres of their land to enable the Reliance set up 50 plants.
