Vijayawada: Education Minister Nara Lokesh, in a show of solidarity on Thursday, reached out to the family of Boya Narasimhulu, a victim of faction violence who suffered heavily in Rayalaseema.

Lokesh invited the family to his residence in Undavalli to discuss their well-being and extended his support to them. They were members of the Telugu Desam since its inception.

He recalled that the dark chapter began in 2011 when Narasimhulu, along with his son and daughter, were murdered by rivals while they were traveling on a motorcycle. The incident sent shockwaves through the community, deeply impacting the Boya Narasimhulu family.

The minister recalled that during the tumultuous period after the murders, Telugu Desam chief Chandrababu Naidu stood by the family in their times of need.

Lokesh took the time to inquire about the family's current circumstances and expressed his commitment to provide it all possible support.

A touching moment was the minister’s heartfelt interaction with a boy named Mrityunjaya, the son of the deceased. Lokesh greeted the child and inquired about his education, urging him to pursue his studies diligently with a promise to always stand by the family.

The Boya Narasimhulu family expressed its gratitude to the minister: "We are thankful for his visit and for the assurance of help. It means a lot to us during these challenging times," they said.
