Lokesh Calls to Counter YSRC Propaganda
Lokesh asked ministers to take personal responsibility for resolving public grievances raised on the Praja Vedika platform and proactively address petitions related to their respective departments.
Vijayawada: Stating that intimidation, coercion and high-handedness are alien to the Telugu Desam’s ethos, education minister Nara Lokesh on Thursday said the party would follow a people-centric approach rooted in service and accountability.
Addressing TD ministers during a breakfast interaction at the CM’s camp office, Lokesh asserted that the party would not adopt the “Rappa Rappa” style associated with the YSR Congress. He made it clear that threatening people, instilling fear in them and resorting to acts of intimidation were not part of the TD’s political culture
Respecting the people’s mandate, he said, should be the government’s core agenda. The alliance government’s policy was to balance development with welfare to ensure that tangible benefits reached the people. He urged party leaders to effectively counter the “false propaganda and conspiracies” of the YSRC at the parliamentary constituency level by staying united and citing facts.
Lokesh asked ministers to take personal responsibility for resolving public grievances raised on the Praja Vedika platform and proactively address petitions related to their respective departments. Calling for the party’s organisational strengthening, he appealed to in-charge ministers to keep the party cadre united and further consolidate the TD’s strengths at all levels.
