Krishna Water Release Into Sea Continues At 10,875 Cusecs

VIJAYAWADA: Water resources officials are releasing 10,875 cusecs of Krishna River water from the Prakasam Barrage downstream into the sea as of 6 pm on Tuesday.
The barrage is receiving an inflow of 14,498 cusecs, mainly due to local rainfall in parts of Vijayawada and Guntur. Of the total inflow, 3,623 cusecs is being released to canals for irrigation.
