Kadapa: Woman Killed in Attack, Son-in-Law Later Slits His Throat

Kadapa: A woman was killed by her son-in-law in Kadapa district on Sunday.

The deceased was identified as Shamshada Begum. Her son-in-law, identified as Srinu, attacked her with a sharp-edged weapon, causing fatal injuries. She died on the spot.

Following the incident, Srinu also injured himself by cutting his throat. He was rushed to RIMS Hospital, where he is undergoing treatment. His condition is said to be critical.

Police reached the spot and shifted the woman's body to the hospital for post-mortem examination. A case has been registered, and an investigation is underway to determine the exact motive behind the incident.
