With this, one gate is being closed, and water is being released through seven gates by 6 pm on Saturday. 2,69,921 cusecs are coming into Srisailam from the Jurala and Sunkesula projects. The outflow from here is 2,93,457 cusecs. 1,87,530 cusecs are being released through 7 spillway gates.
20,000 cusecs are being released from the Pothireddypadu head regulator, 35,315 cusecs from the left bank power station, and 30,787 cusecs from the right bank power station. The full water level of Srisailam is 885 feet. It has now reached 882.20 feet. The project's full water storage capacity is 215.80 TMC, but it is currently recorded at 200.2 TMC.
