Hyderabad Devotee Donates Rs 1.1 Cr to TTD in Andhra

Of the total contribution, Rs 1 crore was given to the SV Anna Prasadam Trust and Rs 10 lakh to the SV Gosamrakshana Trust.

Tirupati: A Hyderabad-based entrepreneur has contributed ₹1.10 crore to two trusts run by the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), the custodian of Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple in Tirumala.

Kodali Srikanth, founder and managing director of Kapston Services, on Tuesday donated ₹1 crore to Sri Venkateswara Anna Prasadam Trust and ₹10 lakh to Sri Venkateswara Gosamrakshana Trust. He handed over the donation demand drafts to TTD additional executive officer Ch. Venkaiah Chowdary at the Ranganayakula Mandapam inside the Srivari temple in Tirumala.

The Anna Prasadam Trust provides free meals to thousands of devotees visiting Tirumala every day, while the Gosamrakshana Trust supports the upkeep, feeding and protection of cattle maintained by the TTD, including those used in temple-related activities.

The TTD officials appreciated the gesture, stating that such contributions play a vital role in sustaining these charitable initiatives, which rely heavily on public donations.
