Hyderabad: Traffic movement was disrupted on Hyderabad-Vijayawada national highway on Saturday as a large number of people were heading to their native places to celebrate Dasara festival.

The vehicles moved hassle-free from Pedda Amberpet and once they reached Valigonda, the vehicles traffic started moving at a snail’s pace. The sudden rise in vehicular traffic followed by the construction of a flyover on the highway near Valigonda resulted in slow movement of traffic.

This caused inconvenience to motorists hampering their plan to reach their hometown on time. However, the police intervened and regulated the traffic to pave the way for the people to reach their home easily.
