HC Allows VHDCPL to Continue Hyperscale AI Data Centre Project
A division bench headed by Chief Justice Lisa Gill and Justice Challa Gunaranjan passed the interim order while hearing the matter on Tuesday.
Vijayawada:The Andhra Pradesh High Court has allowed Vizag Hyperscale Data Centre Park Limited (VHDCPL), a special purpose vehicle, to continue development of its Hyperscale AI Data Centre project at Adavivaram and Mudasaralova villages in Visakhapatnam rural mandal, subject to the final order of the court.
A division bench headed by Chief Justice Lisa Gill and Justice Challa Gunaranjan passed the interim order while hearing the matter on Tuesday.
The court allowed VHDCPL to proceed with the project subject to compliance with all applicable norms. It observed that any lapse in compliance would invite its intervention and directed the special purpose vehicle to abide by its orders.
The court directed the Centre, the State government and VHDCPL to file their counter-affidavits and adjourned the matter for further hearing.
