Free Power Supply To Durga Puja Pandals In AP: Nara Lokesh
The Government of Andhra Pradesh will provide FREE power supply to all authorised Durga Mandapas across the State for 2026.
Amaravati: After providing free power to the Ganesha Pandals across the state,the Government of Andhra Pradesh is extending the same benefit for the Durga Puja organisers. The state Government will provide free power supply to all authorised Durga Mandapas. State IT and HRD Minister Nara Lokesh announced the decision on X, stating that pandals will get free electricity up to 3 KW in rural areas and 5 KW in urban areas.
The Dasara festivities will be organised for 10 days, starting from October 11 to 20th across the state in 2026

The move is expected to benefit thousands of Durga Puja committees across the state during the Navratri festivities.
