Governor visits Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple with family members for darshan

Tirupati: Governor S. Abdul Nazeer offered prayers at the Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple in Tirumala on Thursday along with his family members.

The Governor was received at the Mahadwaram by TTD executive officer M. Ravichandra, additional executive officer Ch. Venkaiah Chowdary and chief vigilance and security officer K.V. Murali Krishna.

Temple priests accorded him a traditional welcome with Istikapal honours and escorted him into the temple for darshan.

Following the darshan, Vedic scholars rendered Vedasirvachanam and blessed the Governor at the Ranganayakula Mandapam.

TTD officials later presented him with Theertha Prasadams and a portrait of Lord Venkateswara.

Tirumala temple deputy executive officer M. Lokanatham, reception deputy executive officer P. Bhaskar, vigilance and security officials, and other TTD staff were present on the occasion.
