Godavari Flow Rises at Dowleswaram, First Flood Warning Likely Tonight

East Godavari: The Godavari river is rising at Dowleswaram, with both inflows and outflows reaching 5 lakh cusecs.

The first flood warning is likely to be issued at Dowleswaram tonight. In view of the rising water levels, the Disaster Management Authority has alerted officials and issued warnings to Polavaram, East Godavari, West Godavari, Kakinada, Eluru and Konaseema districts.

The Disaster Management Authority has advised people living in lanka villages to remain alert and take necessary precautions.
