Gnaneshwari Case: Dolls Stuffed With Meat Arranged

Police are continuing the search for three-year-old Gnaneshwari, who went missing from Ch. Agraharam in Tuni mandal.

As part of their investigation into the case, police installed two dolls stuffed with meat at the fence dividing the agriculture land and hilly terrain. It is believed that Gnaneshwari had disappeared at this place.

Along with the dolls, CCTV cameras have been arranged to see if any wild animals are moving in the place. Police are of the view that if there are any wild animals in the area, there is a chance to get near the dolls.

Gnaneshwari went missing on June 9 and the pet dog which accompanied her died on June 13, after being infected with a virus. Videos showing the toddler moving around her house also surfaced on media.


Police, revenue, fire, forest teams along with an SDRF team are still continuing their efforts to trace the toddler. On June 14, NDRF personnel have also joined the operation.

Police said that drones are also being used in the operation.
