Girls Outshine Boys in APECET Results
APECET convener Prof. B. Durga Prasad announced the results on Thursday
Kurnool: Girls outshined boys in the Andhra Pradesh Engineering Common Entrance Test (APECET) 2025, recording a pass percentage of 95.60, compared to 92.18 per cent among boys. The overall pass percentage stood at 93.26.
APECET convener Prof. B. Durga Prasad announced the results on Thursday.
Notably, girls also excelled in the previous year with a pass percentage of 93.34, which has improved by over 2 per cent this year.
Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Anantapur (JNTUA) had conducted the exam on May 6 on behalf of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE). 34,228 candidates appeared for the exam and 31,922 qualified.
APECET provides lateral entry opportunities for diploma holders and B.Sc. (Mathematics) graduates into the second year of engineering and pharmacy courses in the state.
