Girls out Beat Boys in Polycet 2025 With 95.36 Pass Percentage
Over 1.33 lakh candidates pass; 18 top scorers achieve perfect 120/120 marks
Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh government has announced the results of the Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (POLYCET) 2025 with an impressive overall pass percentage of 95.36 per cent.
The State Board of Technical Education and Training (SBTET) had conducted POLYCET 2025 on April 30 for admissions into diploma courses in engineering and non-engineering streams offered by the SBTET in 87 government and 180 private polytechnic and private engineering colleges.
A total of 1,39,840 candidates appeared for the test, of which 1,33,358 passed, achieving an overall pass percentage of 95.36%. Notably, girls scored a pass percentage of 96.90 per cent, outperforming boys with 94.38 per cent.
Alluri Sitarama Raju (ASR) district recorded the highest pass percentage of 98.66, while Anantapur registered the lowest at 93.11 per cent. Visakhapatnam district had the highest number of 12,365 candidates who appeared for the test.
Students of both SC and ST categories registered a cent per cent pass percentage.
As many as 18 students have been declared as POLYCET 2025 top tankers, as they scored the maximum possible 120 marks out of 120. These students are Baddi Sasi Venkat from East Godavari; Balineni Kalyan Ram from Visakhapatnam; Merla J.S.N.V. Chandra Harsha, East Godavari; Boddeti Sreekar from West Godavari; Woonna Varun Tej from East Godavari; Velpuri Pravalika from West Godavari; Akula Niranjan Sriram from East Godavari; Chintada Chohan from Visakhapatnam; Kodati Krishna Pranay from West Godavari; Balla Rishita Sri Swapna from East Godavari; Rupiti Chahna from East Godavari; Pala Rohith from West Godavari; Uruputuri Chakravarthula Siri Deepika from West Godavari; Chaluvadi Khadhiresh from Prakasam; Koppisetti Abhijit from Kakinada; Pakalapati Nidheesh from West Godavari; Yellisetti Hema Chandra Kumar from East Godavari; Adina Yashwanth Pavan Sai Ram from West Godavari; and Mandavilli Uma Durga Srinidhi from East Godavari.
