Former AP Deputy CM Alla Nani Passes Away

Visakhapatnam: Former Deputy Chief Minister Alla Kali Krishna Srinivas, popularly known as Alla Nani (57), passed away. He breathed his last after suffering a heart attack in Visakhapatnam on Tuesday.

He was first elected as a Congress MLA from Eluru and later joined the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP). During the tenure of Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, he served as Deputy Chief Minister and Minister for Health and Medical Education.

A few months ago, Alla Nani joined the Telugu Desam Party (TDP).
