Five Held With 38 Kg Ganja at Vijayawada Station
Police seized their mobile phones and railway tickets and produced them before the concerned court.

Vijayawada:Five men were arrested and 38 kg of ganja worth nearly ₹19 lakh was seized at Vijayawada railway station on Wednesday.
Government railway police CI J.V. Ramana said a joint team of the GRP, RPF and EAGLE conducted a routine search at the station. During frisking, officials found ganja in the bags carried by the five men.
Police seized their mobile phones and railway tickets and produced them before the concerned court. Two cases were registered.
The accused were identified as Pratap Chhatria, Pramod Chhatria and Bishhikeshan Jani of Odisha, and Prakash and Yogesh of Karnataka. Another accused, Teja of Karnataka, is absconding.
