Essentials at AP Fair Price Shops From June 1: Nadendla

Vijayawada: Civil Supplies Minister Nadendla Manohar on Wednesday announced that essential commodities will be supplied to ration card holders at Fair Price Shops in Andhra Pradesh from June 1.

The minister held a video conference with joint collectors and officials from the civil supplies department.

He said beneficiaries aged above 65 years and those suffering from physical disability will be given essential supplies at their doorstep.

Manohar directed officials to ensure distribution of essentials to beneficiaries without causing any inconvenience to them in the wake of scrapping of mobile ration delivery units, which earlier used to supply essentials at the doorstep of beneficiaries.
