TIRUMALA: The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) is making elaborate security arrangements for the upcoming Srivari Brahmotsavams to ensure safe darshan and comfortable viewing of Vahana Sevas for devotees, said TTD Chief Vigilance and Security Officer (CVSO) K.V. Murali Krishna.

He held a review meeting at Annamayya Bhavan in Tirumala on Saturday with Tirupati district SP L. Subbarayudu and senior officials to assess security arrangements along the four Mada Streets and other key areas.

Based on past experience during the Brahmotsavams, TTD Vigilance and the police department are jointly putting in place security measures. Special security and barricading arrangements will be made for the Chief Minister’s visit on the first day for Dhwajarohanam.

Queue lines and entry and exit points are being strengthened in anticipation of the heavy devotee rush. Special attention is being given to Garuda Seva, with parking areas in Tirumala and Tirupati being inspected in advance and a dedicated traffic plan being prepared to prevent congestion.

Multilingual signboards and directional boards will also be installed at important junctions in Tirumala and Tirupati to facilitate the movement of devotees.

SP Subbarayudu said the security plan would focus on devotee safety, crime prevention and traffic management, with coordinated efforts by TTD vigilance, police, fire, forest, intelligence, APSRTC and Railways departments.
