DC Lensman Narayana Wins Two Prizes On WPD

Vijayawada: Deccan Chronicle, Vijayawada, photographer Chowdavarapu Narayana Rao won the first prize in the Best News Picture category and a consolation prize in the Tourist Places, Swachhandra and Yogandhra category on the occasion of the World Photography Day (WPD). NTR district collector Dr G. Lakshmisha said the prize-winning pictures clicked by photographers ahead of the World Photography Day on August 19 are thought-provoking. The collector underlined that each photograph conveys an artistic message and congratulated the winners of the competition. He said 186 entries had been received for the competitions. A six-member panel of judges reviewed the entries and selected the winners.
