Tension prevailed in Pulivendula when Dastagiri intercepted the convoy of YSRCP chief and former Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy while it was passing through the town.

Party workers informed Jagan about Dastagiri's presence. Dastagiri confronted Jagan, accusing him of ruining their lives. Police personnel intervened and stopped Dastagiri when he attempted to approach the former Chief Minister.
