Kurnool: The Srisailam temple will celebrate Dasara Mahotsavam from September 22 to October 2, according to temple authorities. Officials reviewed the arrangements in a meeting held on Saturday. Temple executive officer M. Srinivasa Rao stressed the need for coordination among all wings of the temple to ensure the success of the event while addressing the difficulties faced by visiting devotees. He directed that Vedic rituals be conducted in a systematic manner, adhering to time schedules and with proper duty allocation to Vedic staff members. He also instructed that flower decoration be done in a traditional manner throughout the festivities, while traffic and crowd management be handled effectively by temple security and the police. Highlighting the importance of cleanliness, the EO emphasised that sanitation must be maintained at all times to safeguard devotees’ health. He also directed the public relations wing to keep devotees informed about the ongoing activities and to promptly announce any possible delays in darshan timings.
