VIJAYAWADA | Dr Ambati Naga Radhakrishna Yadav, chairman YSRC NTR district doctors wing, urged the Andhra Pradesh government to release a daily Covid-19 bulletin for each district as the Covid-19 pandemic continues to evolve globally. He further said that this bulletin will serve as a vital tool for informing the public, creating awareness and promoting preventive measures.
Dr Radhakrishna stated that a daily bulletin will keep the public informed about the current Covid-19 situation in their district, enabling them to take necessary precautions. He further stated that by sharing data and trends, the bulletin will promote awareness and encourage people to adopt preventive measures, such as mask-wearing, social distancing, and hand hygiene.
Dr Radhakrishna stressed that the bulletin will be particularly important for vulnerable populations, including elderly individuals with underlying systemic conditions and children born after the second wave who may not have received a vaccine shot. He requested the Andhra Pradesh government to take immediate action and release a daily Covid-19 bulletin for each district to ensure that the public is well-informed and the state can effectively manage the pandemic.
