Vijayawada:A court in Nuziveedu imposed a 14-day judicial remand on former MLA Vallabhaneni Vamsi Mohan on Friday.

The former MLA and his follower Mohan Ranga Rao were booked in a case over their alleged involvement in the distribution of fake house title deeds at Bapulapadu mandal in Eluru district.

Accordingly, the court held a hearing in the case and sent the former MLA and his follower to judicial remand up to May 29.

Moreover, Gannavaram police booked a case against the former MLA Vamsi Mohan in connection with irregularities in mining at Gannavaram based on a complaint lodged by the mines assistant director.
