Court Grants Police Custody of Vallabhaneni Vamsi for 3 Days

Vijayawada: An SC/ST special court in Vijayawada has granted the police custody of YSRC leader and former MLA Vallabhaneni Vamsi for three days. The court instructed the police to interrogate him between 10 am and 5 pm, in the presence of his advocate. In response to a petition by Vamsi claiming back pain, the court directed jail authorities to provide him with a bed.

He was arrested in a case related to the attack on TDP Gannavaram office during the erstwhile YSRCP regime.

He was booked under different sections of BNS and SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act.
