Visakhapatnam: Vice Admiral Rajesh Pendharkar, Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Eastern Naval Command, interacted with personnel of the Eastern Fleet and commended them for maintaining a high tempo of operations within a safe operating environment.

The Commander-in-Chief drew attention to the prevailing security situation and exhorted Fleet personnel to remain prepared and responsive to any operational requirements.

He engaged in discussions with the personnel on a range of issues, including maritime consciousness, operational challenges, training, motivation, wellness, and healthy living.

He further advised all personnel to maintain constant vigilance regarding personal safety, cyber and information security, and road safety awareness.

The Admiral urged the Fleet to remain focused, continue learning, and strive for excellence in their professional duties — thereby embodying a Combat Ready – Credible – Cohesive – Future Ready force, capable of safeguarding India's maritime interests anytime, anywhere, and by any means.
