Collector Cherukuri Sridhar Flags Off Gandikota Festival, Promises Tourism Boost

Kadapa: Describing Gandikota as an extraordinary tourist destination, Kadapa collector Cherukuri Sridhar said the experience becomes even more enriching when visitors understand its rich history. He was speaking after inaugurating the Gandikota Festival on Sunday.
The collector said he was pleased to see tourists from across the country and abroad visiting Gandikota to witness its grandeur. He noted that the State government’s decision to allocate funds for the three-day festival was timely and appropriate, and added that Gandikota would be developed into a major tourism hub in the coming days.
Jammalamadugu MLA Adinarayana Reddy said concerted efforts would be made for the development of both the Gandikota and Mylavaram reservoirs. He described the aerial view of Gandikota during a helicopter ride as a truly memorable experience.
