Vijayawada:Former Vijayawada Central MLA and YSRC senior leader Malladi Vishnu on Wednesday charged that the coalition government led by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu had been unable to maintain law and order in Andhra Pradesh.

Vishnu said, “To cover up their failure in implementing the promised 'Super Six' schemes, which has led to widespread public discontent, the coalition leaders are attempting to communalise the atmosphere by making false religious allegations against former chief minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy.

The former MLA pointed out that during the TD regime, several temples had been demolished during the Krishna Pushkaralu. These had been later rebuilt when Jagan Mohan Reddy came to power. After Naidu returned as Chief Minister, several structures, including satrams and goshalas at the Kashinayana Kshetram, have been demolished.

Furthermore, the sanctity of Tirumala is being destroyed, with availability of egg biryani and liquor, and avoidable deaths of devotees due to administrative negligence of the TTD.

This way, Vishnu alleged that the coalition government is undermining Hindu values. Moreover, Naidu has refused permission to build a temple on Vijayakeeladri. Further, lands allocated by Jagan Mohan Reddy government for religious structures are being taken back by the coalition government.

The senior YSRC leader said in addition to undermining Hindu values, members of the coalition government in AP have supported the Waqf Act, hurt the sentiments of the Muslim community.

He urged the public to recognise these failures and hold the NDA coalition government accountable for its actions.
