VIJAYAWADA: Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu’s outreach programme, the Suparipalanalo Tholi Adugu (Good governance-first step), has reached half a crore houses

It explained the development and welfare initiatives of the state’s TDP-JS-BJP-alliance government.

In this, the CM sought to highlight his government’s fulfilment of the Super Six assurances and attempted to identify public issues.

The chief minister himself participated in the Suparipalana programme in Kuppam and provided encouragement to his party’s rank and file. He also made references to the under-performance of some ministers and legislators and advised them to actively join the mass outreach programme.

Highlighting the tenets of Suparipalana, he warned of downgrading the leaders who fail to mingle with the public at the field level.

Education minister Nara Lokesh also organised a Suparipalana event in Tadepalli in Mangalagiri constituency. He went door to door and distributed pamphlets to find out whether the benefits of the schemes being provided by the government reached the people.

Taking inspiration from the top guns, the ministers, legislators and leaders are actively moving around villages and towns and mingling with the public through the Suparipalana initiative.

The outreach programme was launched on July 2. In three weeks’ time, it covered over 50 lakh homes. The process is ongoing. TD leaders are also recording things like other schemes and programmes that the people are expecting from the government.

Ministers Kolusu Parathasarathy, Kollu Ravindra, Anagani Satya Prasad and others said, “We are explaining about the welfare schemes like pensions, Mega DSC, salute to mother, Anna canteens, Deepam 2 scheme etc and the development programmes undertaken in each of our areas. Further, the investments made in the state after the present government was formed, the job opportunities for youth through investments and the development initiatives for the next four years are being explained.

Tree pamphlets were distributed in the door-to-door programme, explaining the development for Uttarandhra (north Andhra), Madhyandhra (Central Andhra) and Rayalaseema regions.

Minister Lokesh is supervising and monitoring the Suparipalana initiative by continuously motivating the rank and file. The outreach progress is monitored through a dashboard under which the participation from the CUB (Cluster, Unit, Booth) leaders to the Politburo members is updated every day. The number of houses they visited was being updated on the dashboard every evening.
