Tirupati: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has said the state is moving towards a new phase of decentralised development, with a focus on future investments in technology, industrial growth, improved connectivity and balanced development of all regions.

During an interaction with the media in Kuppam on Sunday, Naidu said extensive development works were under way across the state and plans were prepared to ensure progress in every region. “People will soon see a developed Kuppam. We will develop every constituency in the state in the same manner," he said.

The CM said Kuppam was attracting industrial projects on a scale never seen before, while roads, communication networks and other connectivity facilities were being strengthened. The Handri-Neeva water had reached Kuppam and the Galeru-Nagari project would also be completed soon.

Highlighting the state’s investment plans, Naidu said efforts were being made to attract projects in quantum technology and semiconductor sectors. The quantum computing centre in Amaravati would start operations by December.

He said the government was focusing on renewable energy by promoting solar and wind power, along with advanced electricity supply systems. Leading steel companies, including ArcelorMittal and JSW, were setting up projects in the state. The government was giving importance to both industrial growth and greenery, while resolving long-pending land issues.

Criticising the previous YSRC government, he alleged that industries were pushed into disputes, and valuable lands and mineral resources were blocked for the benefit of individuals. He said Obulapuram and Anrak projects also suffered due to such issues. He accused YSRC leaders of discouraging industries, spreading misinformation, and claiming credit for projects brought by the present government.

He alleged that agency areas were turned into centres for ganja cultivation under the YSRC term. Referring to Tirumala, Naidu accused the opposition of hurting devotees’ sentiments over the laddu issue and funding social media campaigns targeting him and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan.
